Farm to Table Events
Marine Discovery Center partners with Green Flamingo Organics
to present two unique experiences celebrating locally grown cuisine.
Our springtime Farm to Table Dinner takes place down on the farm at Green Flamingo,
and our fall Terroir of the Lagoon interactive dining experience occurs right here at MDC.
Proceeds will help fund MDC’s programs
and mission to protect and restore the Indian River Lagoon.

Terroir of the Lagoon
What is Terroir?
Terroir (pronounced tehr·waar) is the complete natural environment in which a particular crop is produced, including factors such as the soil, topography, and climate.
This event will highlight the tastes of the Indian River Lagoon. The idea of the event is to create an atmosphere of curiosity and excitement around all the different attributes that are unique to this fabulous ecosystem and how they shape the tastes of local cuisine.
