Bottlenose Dolphins of the Indian River Lagoon will be the topic of the Marine Discovery Center’s April public lecture.

The lecture will be held at 6 pm in the Learning Lab at the Marine Discovery Center and will feature Teresa Jablonski, research assistant from Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute (HSWRI), who will provide an update on the dolphins in the Indian River Lagoon during her presentation, “Life and Times of Estuarine Dolphins.”

Jablonski is a part of a team from HSWRI that regularly monitors the lagoon’s dolphin population. She will also provide an update on recent dolphin stranding events in which HSWRI assisted animals in the Indian River Lagoon.
