K-12 Programs

The Marine Discovery Center welcomes you and your students to “explore your water” through our hands-on
and feet-wet programs. Browse through our list of exciting programs and let us plan your next student
Discovery!

Our programs include chemical, physical, biological and ecological concepts that incorporate FL's Sunshine State Standards.

Activities include backwater ecotours among the mangroves, seine netting, water quality testing, invertebrate investigations, kayaking, GPS scavenger hunts, animal sign interpretation and much more!

Public and Private School Programs

To reserve your next discovery follow these steps:

1. Review the MDC School Flyer and choose a program.

2. Visit our Online Calendar, find available dates and choose a "preferred and backup" date for your program.

3. Copy and paste the following School Program Reservation Request and send the completed information to :
