dunesCome lend a hand as we CLEAN UP ACROSS THE LAGOON with our friends at Surfrider- Volusia/Flagler Chapter. We’ll be conducting shoreline cleanups in the lagoon while Surfrider cleans up the beach 4 times per year to address trash problems in our area.

The next of these events is SATURDAY, MAY 17th from 10am – 12pm.

Bring a bucket and gloves to one of the following cleanup sites, where you’ll receive a data sheet and leave your trash/recyclables at the end of the day.
• Firecracker Island (meet at MDC boat dock)
• Chicken Island (meet at MDC boat dock)
• AOB site and nearby boat ramps (meet at MDC boat dock)
• Dunlawton Bridge (meet at fishing dock on north side)
Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, and water bottle. Please sign up for a site to ensure sufficient supplies and boat transportation where appropriate.

Sign up by contacting Peter at 316-516-2099 (call or text) or Becky, bberman50@gmail.com.

Help keep our lagoon beautiful!
