Marine Discovery Center Volunteers of the Year—2011!

The Campbell’s began their involvement with the Marine Discovery Center in 2003 as members and shortly afterwards volunteers. Both retired school teachers from the state of Ohio, it did not take long for Bob and Linda to transition their knowledge and passion for science education into the mis-sion and programs at the Marine Discovery Center. Each of them provide unique and valuable skill sets towards various volunteer needs including front desk, education and camp programs, special event outreach and their latest drive to develop and coordinate a Wild Outdoors Hub as part of the FWC – FL Youth Conservation Center Network at the Marine Discovery Center!
Bob and Linda Campbell inspire staff and volunteers through their actions and not their words. They are a great asset to the Marine Discovery Center and more importantly their surrounding com-munity.
