Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna to host huge event, Energy Expo. 10/10/10

The Marine Discovery Center at 162 N Causeway in New Smyrna Beach is hosting an alternative energy expo called ”Here Comes the Sun” October 10th, from 11am to 3pm.
There will be loads of fun and informative activities for kids and adults, like tree and mangrove planting, mini eco tours, face painting, locally produced food vendors, and live music. Learn all about alternative energy for our area and the tax rebates we can get, hybrid vehicle demos and much more. Admission to the event is free!
They have issued a call for local vendors offering ”green solutions”. Tons of great local businesses have already signed up like ‘Green Flamingo Organics’ from Oak Hill and ‘Solar-fit’ solar system installation experts based in Holly Hill.
