Charter our "Discovery" vessel for your own private tour


Planning a birthday, anniversary or reunion? Is your group eager to learn more about the Indian River Lagoon while cruising on your own private charter? Or we can arrange Dock & Dine excursions transporting your group to some of our local waterfront restaurants. When you charter our vessel, Discovery, you can choose from our standard cruise packages or let one of our Charter Specialists work with you to customize an outing which fits your needs perfectly.

Charters can be arranged on most days, but we urge you to book well in advance. Seating is limited to 36 passengers but could be less if a musician and/or serving table is required. All tours start from the Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. All of our vessels are United States Coast Guard inspected.

Standard Guided Ecotour | 2 hours

Allow our knowledgeable Florida Master Naturalist Guide and captain take you on an intriguing, informative tour through the estuary south of the Marine Discovery Center and into the remote backwaters of the Indian River Lagoon. Your group will enjoy an up-close experience with some of the estuary’s unique inhabitants while traveling aboard our comfortable pontoon boat with excellent views from every seat.

Sunset Cruise | 2 hours

For that special occasion when you and your guests want to relax with music, wine and friendship travel north to Ponce Inlet and the Lighthouse to watch the sun set over the water as the many beautiful birds return to their private islands to celebrate the end of another perfect day on the Indian River Lagoon.

Dock & Dine

Your private charter vessel Discovery will transport you and your guests to one of our local, waterfront restaurants where you can dine and return to Discovery at the end of an enjoyable meal. All docking facilities must be pre-approved by our Director of Boat Operations.
